Half-goat, half demon monster, all holiday spirit. Krampus, the mythological furry, cloven-hoofed, horned creature of central European tradition, with a whiplike tongue, pointy teeth and winning personality, stalks the land during the darkest days of the year with a bundle of sticks and a sack for procuring youths that have been foolish enough to get on the naughty list. Krampus has also come to embody a healthy skepticism for the commercialism and saccharine nature of the holidays in this day and age, and looks pretty darned cool doing it.
